taking things I say out of context: the upgrade will be 2 years and some change if hired today. A month later, 3 years, and so on. As for the other airlines you just mentioned, well the airlines are cyclical.

Upgrade may be 7 years at Envoy today, but that can drop quickly just like yours did. Envoy did not hire from 3-08 to 3-10, and again from 11-11 to 11-13. That is 3 open years. They also have attrition two to three times greater than PSA, with about 2/3 coming off the top. Envoy is shrinking right now, but they will be in growth in mid 2016, and even more in 2017. Upgrade should be at around 4 years by late 2016. Some someone hired at Envoy this summer could very well be in better shape than someone at PSA. At Endeavor, same thing: you tbink they are investing $80k in FO retention for a few years just to have them leave? No! In a few years Endeavor will be realigned and uograde will be quite decent as well.

It's all in numbers, not magic wands of "you will upgrade in a few months!"

How will the upgrade time go from 2 years....to 3 years, in just a month? So, you're saying, anyone who is hired at PSA in May or June with no previous 121 time will now have to wait 3 years to upgrade?

PSA has started repainting their 200s in Eagle colors. The first one returns to service this week.

Not saying they'll be parked or not parked, but airlines do stuff like that all the time.

Actually if you think 150 per year attrition, it wil go up every 2-3 months I guess. If you take 70 per month hired, it would be 2 months. If you take 70 per month hired with an 18% washout rate, it would be 3 months:) so every 3 months it will go up a year. So if hired in April - 2 years. July - 3 years. October - 4 years. December - 5 years.

Yeah they repainted half our ATR fleet and even had some still being painted after the retirement announcement was made.

PSA pilots are lying to new hires to get them in the door to secure their own upgrade. What they keep from pointing out that any quick upgrade now, will be due to pilots bypassing because of a lack of 1000 sic and by choice. What this means is perpetual reserve if you can get a captain upgrade.

Once the 50 seat aircraft begin to get parked, stagnation will hit just like you are seeing at Endeavor. Possible downgrades to hit at that point.

If you haven't gone to PSA yet, you missed the boat. If you have most of the required 1000 sic requirement, you may get a captain upgrade due to the amount of pilots bypassing. What this means is you will be on perpetual reserve since any of those pilots upgrading above you will be senior for bidding purposes.

When they start to park all of their 50 seat aircraft, you will realize how bad of a situation you got yourself into.
