ALPA did estimated that in 2018 the longevity of flows from PSA would be at 5 years versus 10 years from Envoy and 8 years from PDT and that is based on no increase when our NC meets again in June to discuss more flows going.

It's important for all pilots to ground themselves in reality or they just set themselves up for crushing disappointment.............again.
That's what you're seeing now. Don't make the same mistake.

It all depends on what you want out of your career. If it's a career at a LCC, sure get out there and network. Spend money on job fairs. Spend your downtime updating airlineapps, resume, and logbook. Then when that precious LCC job interview comes along, hope that the person interviewing you isn't having a bad day.
Personally, my career goal is to fly for a legacy, which is why I am happy where I am. I have no desire to work for Spirit, JB, Frontier, or Virgin...but maybe that's just me. I'm totally content sticking it out at my very stable company and waiting until my number comes up, all the while making a pretty decent living for working half the month.
Talk smack all you want about the flow, but over 70% of new-hires at AA have been envoy flows. We're projected to send more then 300 next year all while taking delivery of new 175's, thereby building a stable foundation for years to come. Mark my words, less then one year from now, this is going to be the place to come. Not only for the flow, but for the steady movement the flow creates. Numbers don't lie and right now the numbers are on our side. So enjoy your 5/month

I have to chime in here, Sublime....What is the average longevity of the top 824 guys that are flowing to American? My guess is well over 15 years. Those guys deserve to have the majority of the American class. When I was at Eagle in 06 I flew with several Captains that were on their 20th year that were still waiting to go there. Now, anybody that is a new hire over at EAGLE do not get to take advantage of the 50 percent of new hire class slots at American but only get 25 percent or 5-8 a month. How in the hell is their flow leaps and bounds better than PSA's. Plus you guys still have well over 2000 pilots. It's probably going to take the same amount of time for a new hire at eagle and PSA to flow to American.

We've already shrunk to our projected size, that's why we're starting upgrades again. 55 in the past few months, and 200 next year. They've already told us to expect t flow at least 300 to AA next year. you'll send what, 60?
If I read this correctly, at your largest (assume 1600 pilots) you'll flow 8 a month, 96 a year. So, you are advertising a 16 year flow to AA. Right now you still flow what, 5 right?
Just opinion, but that just means a guy hired at ENY today will watch those above him flow 3-5 times faster than the list at PDT/PSA.
Of all AA new hires at AA this year, Envoy sent 62%... what was your final percentage
