Is Skywest adding flights to cover Horizon?

They can cry all they want, but in the absence of iron-clad scope restrictions in the Alaska pilot's contract dictating who is allowed to operate Alaska Airlines flights, the answer to your question is:
Nothing.
Nothing.

To actually answer the question... Yes. Mostly OAK-PDX and PDX-SEA flights.. no one is on strike. Regionals cover for other regionals all the time.. maybe not to this extent but they do.... (The CRJ700 last 2 months flying all QX flights).

Yes Alaska has been using SkyWest to cover some of our cancelled flights, and no they aren't scabs. It's ridiculous to even entertain the thought.
There's no union / job action at horizon now. We were short on FOs before the summer schedule started and they are trying to grow at the same time. We warned them this was coming years ago and the new hire pay package needed to be addressed and they told us to F off.
