Those are offensive and disturbing statements, but they are hardly unique to the airline industry let alone America. Travel the world and see how racist other cultures can be. It's like saying "pilots go potty," newsflash- everyone goes potty. Like Rick777 already said, no reason to stir something from nothing.

"A people, professing to respect our constitution, should be strong enough to accept that" Tell that to the "anti-protestors" who were basically holding signs of BLM, F-words, and other hatred signs and instigated the white power group. Lets face it, despite what CNN and MSNBC are showing on TV, this wasn't a one-sided attack where the whites were in the wrong and everyone else was innocent.......... http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/...2623268357.jpg I don't like their message - but it's their right, protected speech, and right to assembly. So as long as they do it peacefully without harming persons or property, they can say what they want. The liberal message is you only have free speech and a right to protest and assemble IF you tow along their line - their beliefs. If not, you don't have a right to have that opinion. That's the new left. And I'm saying this as a non-white person, someone who immigrated here in the early 90s. Seems like the democrats are trying to re-write their parties history by removing statues. Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it. Anyone who believes in censorship of political ideas or messages is intellectually weak. It's either all good, or none of it is good. |

Of course we shouldn't forget our past but that doesn't mean we need to celebrate it. Do you recommend that Germans erect or keep up monuments to Hitler? Of course not. That doesn't mean the history is dead. Also, anyone who thinks this is "Democrats" trying to erase "their" history needs to do some real reading and rely less on click bait to get their news. |

I think progressives are trying to remove centuries old symbols of oppression... Unless you want to start putting up statues of Edward Snowden. Or maybe we can put up a monument in Boston celebrating the Boston Massacre with a very pro-British slant.
