Just because it happens in the US or in other countries doesn't mean you should just shrug your shoulders. But that's not the argument. Rick said it should happen way less because we are all more educated. When you're locked in a closet someone who hates you and doesn't feel the need to filter his thoughts, that's a serious problem. You can't just "walk away" in this scenario. No bigotry is okay.

I don't like their message - but it's their right, protected speech, and right to assembly. So as long as they do it peacefully without harming persons or property, they can say what they want. The liberal message is you only have free speech and a right to protest and assemble IF you tow along their line - their beliefs. If not, you don't have a right to have that opinion. That's the new left.

And I'm saying this as a non-white person, someone who immigrated here in the early 90s.

Seems like the democrats are trying to re-write their parties history by removing statues. Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it. Anyone who believes in censorship of political ideas or messages is intellectually weak. It's either all good, or none of it is good.
