Racism against foreign pilots

Shocked about what happened in Charlottesville Virginia.
Not directly related but it triggered to start this topic.

Racism. As a foreign pilot I had to deal with several cases with fellow pilots which made me leave the regionals.

I gave up to easy but I would like to know which regional is more friendly/supportive towards foreigners.

Thanks,

I have flown with many foreign pilots at SkyWest. They are accepted and welcomed, and I have never seen any racism or ill-will towards foreigners. People here are more interested in your work ethic, not your ethnicity.

Why would you have to leave? Just what did they do to you?

Im a Latino pilot ! I've never had any issues in aviation yet except for a line guy in Alabama thinking I stole the aircraft I needed him to refuel and called the cops.

I think the one nice thing about aviation is that pilots for the most part are professionals , and are exposed to all sorts of people.

Op.....

Of course, regionals are hotbeds of neo nazi secret societies and such...

They also spread chemtrails.
And they are responsible for your toaster not working right.

It's entirely possible that the regional doesn't like YOU. Not for racist reasons, but maybe because you are the kind of drama queen who would scream "racism" rather than taking an objective look at your personality traits.

If "racism" were the only reason for your worries, then you would never have joined the hundred atomic wedgie club in grade school.

Quit being such a Nancy.

While my patience for snowflakes is very low, I have spent a great deal of time with folks who are not from the US.

There's a very high chance that he has no idea WTF the statement about grade school above even means. Just sayin'

Then there is the chance he actually was made to feel uncomfortable due racist comments, therefore, made the right analysis. Your write-up is quite unfortunate, insensitive. Very poor CRM.

Thanks,

You're so full of it. Trying to start a race war on here? People have their own problems and could care less about your race or your feelings.
