Unfortunately, the only answers you are going to get are based purely on opinion. No one knows what will happen, or how unsucessful or sucessful the branded flying will be. For now we still have 205 airplanes making guaranteed money from Continental flying, but CAL can opt to remove 25% of that from the fleet in 2009. As far as the branded flying, well who knows? Many will say that it will fail miserably because we all saw what happened to Independence.
But this is a totally different product built on a completely different concept. The only similarity is that we are using 50 seat jets. My main point is that none of us have a crystal ball, because if we did we would probably all be sitting on $10 million boats in St. Maarten drinking with our supermodels.
