Default Regional Interview

Good people of APC,

I may be looking to start a regional airline career and I am wondering about how to tackle the application and interview process.

I am planning on submitting my application to airlineapps.com. I have gouge from aviationinterviews for each company I am interested in. I am going through Aerodynamics for Naval Aviators. I need to read through Everything Explained for the Professional Pilot. I need to practice using and briefing Jeppeson plates. I will use Kit Darby for interview prep.

What else should I be doing? What did you study in the runup to your own interviews?

Respectfully,
SnowmanKiller

Sheppard air airline interview written test prep if you’re applying to companies that use a written test as part of their interview...

Sounds like you’re more than prepared.

I guess you could find a Solo cup and practice holding it while you take a whizz?

You're not supposed to cup your hands?

Great suggestion! I used them for my milcomp commercial and was planning on doing it for the ATP written. I will definitely look into whether they have products for the interview.

Don’t sweat it too much
Know the current aircraft you fly. Was asked few different systems. know general things about Vmc. TMAAT. Behavioral questions WWYD. IFR regs, speeds, when you brief the approach makes sure you brief type of entry into missed hold and along with what type of approach lighting system and PAPI/VASi on left/right.

Good luck

You could probably punch the CP in the throat during your interview and they would still hire you i.e. "That took guts kid."

I also just saw that Sheppard has software for airline interviews. I used this for my milcomp commercial and it was well worth my money. Has anyone here used it for interview prep? How was it?

I used it for Republic since they give a 20 question test during the interview. All the questions on their test were in the Sheppard bank.
