I think that the Air Whiskey guys who are coming to RAH since they never get to fly would disagree with you.

Yeah, I'd include them, too...I'm a little bit behind the hip RJ trends nowadays. Looks like big growth happening there right now, though.

I just got offered a class date with Eagle. I was very impressed with the training center/corperate offices that american and Eagle have. They did give me the base I wanted I will most likely get the a/c I want. I am looking for a stable job with not a lot of drama (i.e. mins going to commercial M.E. instrument, not knowing if the airline iwll be there in 4 years). I am very excited to start class but I just don't want to get myself into the whole rollercoster that other airlines are going through.

No one is immune to the rollercoaster...While some may believe that Eagle is a bit more stable (including me, and I'd say only a little bit), it's still a regional airline, and crazy things happen. Enjoy the ride!

Yeah Pan Am and Eastern used to be the places to be as well

Just remember boys, just like Upgrade times what it is today is no indication of what it might be a year or two down the road

You will enjoy the training at Eagle. The instructors I had there were top notch. Do your homework, let them see how willing you are to learn and grow and they are right behind you, working with you. Don't make any bones about it, though, they do have a 3 strike your out policy during intial training. Although in my class, we didn't have anyone with any problems. We had a pretty smart group of people. All my sim guys and checkride guys were great. The facility at AMR is really impressive, and I always get such a kick walking around there. Such history, and money in all these multi-million dollar sims. Although, like Saab says......Pan Am and Eastern used to be like that, too. You never know how this industry will go. Eagle is reputed to have the best training out there, so it's a great place to start. Best of luck to you, and, take my advice. DON'T make mistakes on probation. Your captain cannot save you!!!!!

What the hell were those last 2 sentences all about? Probation is probation.

Show up, do your job, go home. It's pretty simple. We're not altar boys/astronauts at Eagle. Just people.

If you want BOS or LGA the EMB, DFW or LAX saab, MIA SJU ATR, ORD; well that a toss up. the three in my class going there got the CRJ. I hear most of the time its the ERJ. I'm in training now, and its enjoyable. Very long but, in depth. Like Git R dun says its a very impressive place and good instructors. Not terribly difficult if you come from a 121 job. EMB is a simple plane. Good first jet. Just a little nervous about flying on probation. They told us some stories of how easy it is to lose your job. Now I have to go study and GIT R DUN
