Attending an Aviation University was the best time of my life. Majoring in aviation is respectable, you make many industry connections, oportunities for internships are better, your friends are pilots. If you choose the right school, you could be surfing and sunbathing amongst the most talented springbreakers in the country.

And you know what? At the end of the day the plastic certificate that you get from the FAA is identical to the one given to everybody else.

Being humble about your roots and education, and keeping the attitude/ego to a minimum will go a LOT farther to advance your career than where you did your flight training or got your degree.
