anything on your phone is not authorized. It’s like this, though. No fed in the jump or not being line checked do what you want. The people that don’t use use their phone are the exception.

Except on my flights, for the record. Lol I run a tight ship... shoulder harnesses stay on in cruise and instruments are constantly being scanned. I also like to say things like “let’s make sure someone is minding the shop,” when we bred approaches.

A POI at a former airline chastised my OE captain for setting the altimeter setting for our destination in the standby altimeter above FL180, because, "How can you cross-check your altimeters?!"

What kind of job would that be?

For the record, I do keep my shoulder harnesses on in flight but that is personal preference.
1. I just got used to it in the military and flying aerobatics.
2. I had an FO in the ATR-72 get stitches in his head when we hit turbulence and his head hit an overhead switch.
3. If you release your shoulder harness just after TO and there is an emergency you probably won't remember your shoulder harness. I had a buddy killed ferrying an airplane. The engine failed and he made a great engine out landing to a field... but forgot his shoulder harness. Killed when his head hit the dash.
4. There have been several cases of windshields shattering and pilots being partially sucked out, most recently a Sichuan Airlines Airbus in May.
But again, that's my personal preference and I understand why pilots don't.

Shake Weight DVD. For hotel workout room, Crew Room during 3 hour sit, or wherever.

I've wondered how that plays out as a full-time airline pilot. Do you have a property manager to take care of issues when you're away?

You don't want to be the noob who shows up with more bags than the old lady FA's.
It’s funny I have been following an AA flight attendant on youtube and she and all of her fellow FA’s refer to them as “senior mamas.” It’s actually quite comical.

With the independent altimeter system on the other pilot’s side?
