Is there a payraise in PSA's future? Their 2nd and 3rd year pay is just downright terrible. The airline looks attractive to me (all CRJs, TYS, CLT). How do you current PSA pilots like it? I know there is much more to a contract than pay. How are the benefits and work rules? Would you put them up against ExpressJet, American Eagle, or Skywest?

I'd guess most guys hate it. They're leaving by the gross. Anybody who can move up is going up, anybody who can move to the side is getting out that way. The company keeps reinterpreting the contract to the detriment of the pilot group.
I quit PSA to fly for Eagle (the BOS base was my deciding factor). And would've gone to XJet or Air Whisky if I had not been able to hold a NE domicile.
Here's a quote from a PSA message board, I think it sums up the entire PSA experience.
"Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that aircraft 703PS had the forward lav overflow and seep through the bulkhead and the carpet to row 10 on Monday, April 9. The company apparently has decided that this biohazard of blue juice and human waste is okay to fly because the juice is dry now. I hear that the passengers are complaining that it smells of urine and strong chemicals and are throwing up more often than normal in flight. Additionally, F/As are reporting sore throats and burning eyes as a result of continued exposure to this plane. Thought I would pass this along. "

Robthree, good for you! I love seeing pilots ditch these crappy regional carriers for good ones. You picked one of the few good ones. How do you like it at Eagle? I hear one complaint about Eagle, upgrade upgrade upgrade. Who gives a crap? That will change. In the meantime, you will be an FO for a good airline that knows how to treat their employees.
