Read between the lines. He just needs to get current and a major will pick him up in no time.

CRJ side at SkyWest is the fastest 121 training I've ever had. From my arrival on day 1 to IOE completion was 2 months.

Thanks.
Things may change between now and January. Apply to all the regionals that seem to meet your goals, accept all the CJO's, and then make your final decision in January about a week prior. Call the ones you are turning down so they can fill the classes.

Mesa is like 6 weeks and they'll put you in a class tomorrow.

Default Horizon

It’ll be four months for me at Horizon on the Q400. Hired mid June and I’ll be off IOE mid next month October. Last sim checkride was end of August. No real gaps in training but I’ve had a few nice chunks of days off in IOE which I’ve enjoyed. My sim partner will be done with IOE at the end of this month.

No delay at Skywest. I have friends hired at others who haven't even touched the plane yet. I am very happy with my decision going to Skywest. Went straight through with only a week off after sims to IOE

One more time. Everyone is giving training times now. January is 3 months from now. Things might well be very different.

One more point. Go to a regional that bases seniority on age so you can pick the airplane and base with the fastest pipeline.
