I got the top one (vinyl), I pad 79.99. I had an office-max case, it didn't have the plastic runners on the bottom, so it got chewed up fast. This has some decent sized plastic runners that look like they should hold up to the beating.

I love how they call them Pilot/Lawyer cases, thats almost insulting!

$33 shipped. Not bad. They generally hold up quite awhile. Much better than those cheapo fake leather/cardboard things from office max. I've got a friend who's had his for 2 years, still going strong. I got unlucky with mine.
Yep these are about the best possible value out there. Even if you have to upgrade in a few years, it's $30. Lots of folks carrying them. The Coyote Works looks like a good kit, but being that it is a new product, I wouldn't trust it as much for that price as I would the good old Scott leather flight case. Those things have been around forever, and have a loyal following. One extreme or the other for me...the best of the best, or the super-cheap aluminum. My .02.

This is the kit to rule them all! It costs a pretty penny, but I know guys that have ha them for 10+ year without any problem.

Coyote Works just looks like they did the Scott Leather thing but in silver or something. I would definitely agree with kansas that you might as well go with a brand that has been around forever. From what I know, Scott Leather is what airliners use to give out to their pilots.

What they use to give you a chart case????

Now airlines want you to have a labtop with wireless access....

I've seen both the Scott and the Coyote case, and the Coyote is a much better product. It's built better, plain and simple. The cost is high, but with the lifetime warranty (vs. a limited warranty from Scott), I think it's worth it.

In case you're wondering, I don't have a Coyote case. I have a US Luggage case which, when it falls apart, will be replaced with a Coyote case. No sense in spending the money now when I already have a case that works.

Purdy Neat Split Grain Flight Kit..... Not too too expensive ($160?), fits in the CRJ, taller than most (ie holds more ******), and not brass...I hate brass.....

It's holding up great... In five years or so I will either get a Scott or one of those c works bags.... I should be able to afford one by then

I walked into a Mesa crew room in ORD and was amazed at how many people had that metal thing from e-bay... Apparently they work, but geez they are ugly....
