Gov shutdown affect PRIA?

Regional sent PRIA requests the week before Christmas; is the government shutdown going to stop the release of PRIA info from FAA? If so that sucks.... I already have ATP so I don’t have an issue with taking the written

Possibly. That is the sort of lower-priority government function which might be suspended.

From what I can gather PRIA is a function that is affected by the shutdown. However, you can start training before your clear PRIA:

Airman Certification Branch is effectively closed during the shutdown, so PRIA responses will definitely be delayed.
Aside from ATC, the only parts of the FAA that are running "business as usual" are medical certification and the aircraft registry (thanks to NBAA's lobbying a few years back).

Airlines can definitely train you before they get the PRIA data, and they might even be able to let you fly the line. Airlines are required by law to request PRIA data, but they are not actually required to wait for it in all cases (Good Faith Exemption). Some might prefer to wait, understandably, but I doubt many would cancel flights while waiting for the fed to get it's poop together.
An extended shutdown is obviously a situation that wasn't specifically considered when the guidance was drafted, and I'm not really sure what options carriers will have if this drags on.
