I'm not a good packer.

Maybe my wife can pack my bag for me. She could pack an elephant into a check on bag.

Yeah 22" is plenty for a 4-day, unless you've got Mexico and Canada on the same trip.

Fits fine, so long as you don't overstuff the front pockets. That said, I used a Timbuk2 Commute messenger bag more often than the EFB cooler, and that fits better.

Agreed. I use it also for military travel, so I can bring boots without checking any bags.

Same dimensions but longer, fits in the bins with room to spare. "Fatness" is the limiting dimension in a 200 bin, not length or width.
