If you could choose between E-RJ or C-RJ
I've been given the chance to choose between the C-rj or E-rj. What are some thought on which is the most user friendly airplane.

Depends, I'll take a ERJ145 over a CRJ200 any day of the week.
I'll take a CRJ700 over a ERJ145 or a CRJ200 any day of the week, but I will take an E170 over CRJ700 any day of the week. |
The CRJ on FlightSimX!!:D
Ok, seriously....Never flew either of em... Only had a sim eval in the CR.....didn't get the play with any of the knobs and switches:mad: The ram horns on the ER look ridiculously cool though :-/ But if I could choose? Prolly the CR...because it's a hot looking plane;) except that stretched out version...crjk |
If it helps you at all, I flew with a guy that use to fly the 200 at ACA, and he said that he likes the Embraer product better, particularly the LR and XR models. My only experience has been with the ERJ, and is a whole lot of fun to fly.

Canadian components, Brazilian components....ALL MADE IN TAIWAN!!!
I'll fly the one that lets me get out of it the quickest :D |
My instructor has a type rating in the CRJ and said that before you flare, you have to trim full nose up. Maybe that was just in the sim but I have been wondering if that applies to the real CRJ. :?

With no PAX in the King Air I have to use full nose up trim during landing. Keeps you busy during a go-around. :D

As for which a/c, look at all the domiciles and choose the one that works best for you. Closest to home, number of flights, are the flights company (makes commuting MUCH MUCH easier), can you live there, does family live there, price of crash pads and what ever other questions you might have. After you have your domicile then choose your equipment. Remember that QOL (quality of life) is much more important than equipment. |
