Did you collect types for fun? How did you get a 756 and 320 type with just 1200tt?

Good question. My guess is she was flying in Europe or Asia.

I flew regional for many hours before the 1500 rule took place. Worked for a major 121 carrier that typed me on the 757/767, and 320. Recent type on the BE 400A.

With a total of "160 hours jet" they typed you in the 757/767 and 320?

It's mathematically possible, if hired during a period of turmoil...

Hired, typed on boeing, sit reserve, barely fly then displaced to bus, typed, furloughed. All of my Navy bros at the big three have about six types each, most got furloughed (at least once), and only flew a few thousand hours for a 5-10 year period.

Or had a college internship at a major, and got a type or two out of the deal, I've known folks who did that back in the day.

Or overseas airlines.

To answer the question asked and not act astounded about a few type ratings...

Regional - as long as your current, have your 1st class, and your ATP - your qualified now.

Majors - 1,000-2,000 hours turbine. Depends on how long your lapse was, but most places will want to see you finish a 121 training program and grab at least 500 hours before your declared current. The type ratings will help. Upgrading at a regional will help also.

Total time is too low for majors, only fighter pilots can get hired with much less than 2000 hours. Maybe certain other mil platforms.
