This is a silly debate, I live in Northern, NJ............................. 2 bedroom houses costs what a 5 bedroom house in Middle America costs........... Its easy to live on a 100 grand a year in East Bumble*******, but not in the Northeast, West Coast, etc........

I know teachers at my high school who made no more than $50k and supported a family of 4 or 5 pretty well. They didn't be take any extravagant vacations, didn't drive a BMW, sure as heck didn't have "a couple dirt bikes, an RV, or a ski boat," and they were quite content. They lived in a nice sized house and in a nice, safe, and very family oriented neighborhood. They loved their life. 100k is the "minimum" to support a family? Whatever.
ce750 is a poser. possibly browntail incognito

You have no idea. Is your definition of mediocrity the be all, end all? Is a high school teacher making 50k or less a year striving for mediocrity? Nevermind that he is trying to shape the minds of young adults day in and day out. How bout a pastor and his household living on poverty wage? Is that man striving for mediocrity? Think about it...

hahaha yeah why don;t you look up some info on "No child left behind"...............Most teachers spend the whole year "prepping" their students for this test to make them look like they actually make a difference in the childs life...............dont get me started on, "shaping young minds" Its called summers off and tenor

PS. As you know many teachers actually go over the test before the students actually take it.......in case you didn't sense my sarcasm

I was talking about the teacher I know. Are all teachers like him, no, as we read in the news everyday. If you only knew the great lengths this teacher goes for his students...including me.
