Default Best Reserve Rules?

Which regional has best reserve rules? They all seem like 2 hour call out and some airport reserve (15 min). Some have long call reserve but it goes senior.

Can reserve days be dropped at some airlines? I don't care about not getting paid the hours for that day.

Who has shortest the reserve periods closest to Vegas? Ejet or CRJ?

Don't come to Endeavor unless you love ready reserve.

Reserve going to suck at every regional regardless. They way to minimize the suckage or reserve is to live in base or close (like 1 1/2 hours away from base).

What company has best reserve closest to LAS?

Which airframe has shorter reserve time.

Say Mesa CRJ from PHX or Skywest ERJ in SLC or Horizon ERJ in PHX/SEA. Maybe skywest CRJ in PSP? So many factors.

I am trying to make a decision of regional based outside of LAS versus a 135 based in Vegas.

Everyone I talked to says commuting to reserve is the absolute worst- so I guess I have to decide if I am going to put up with it for a while or go for something home based.

Long term goal is a LCC based in LAS.

Go to Skywest and hustle, every month you wait is 50 people ahead of you on the seniority list.

Skywest will give you the greatest number of options and the quickest route to being a line holder somewhere with a decent commute.

Commuting to reserve sucks as much as everyone says. I commuted PHX-ORD on reserve for 6 months. It's no fun but is doable if theres light at the end of the tunnel.

Best reserve rules:

Whoever has a base where you live.

Never commute to reserve if you can help it.

Thats the path that is in the lead right now. I am a few hours away from minimums, but probably switching from teaching to straight time building in January to make a skywest class date in mid spring

Best reserve rules is like asking where to get the most painless root canal.

You should be asking who has the shortest reserve.
