Regionals with Rotor Transitions
I have seen a couple companies like Trans States and GoJets advertise that they will pay for your ratings to get you up to speed to get hired on as a FO, but are there any others that do this also? It is not that apparent on some of the regional's info pages on this, or their own sites.
It looks like Trans States is not going to be taking on any new FO's for a while and I have heard iffy stories about GoJets, so I thought I would ask around.
Has anyone on this board done the whole "we will pay for your transition" thing, or do you know anyone that has?
Any info would be great. I have been flying civilian helicopters for around 15 years now and think it might be time for a change to something with a better long term pay and retirement structure.
Thanks in advance,
MD

I recommend venturing over to the RTAG website and Facebook groups. A lot of really good information over there. I would also venture to say that about 75% of the regionals have an RTP of some sort, look through their profiles on this page, go to pilotdomiciles.com to see who has bases that work for you then go to their websites and dig around. This forum is very helpful for answers to specific questions once you have it narrowed down to two or three companies. Good luck on your research!
