*as for the “endless college debt”.....that’s optional. And you can blame greedy institutions more than a generation of people who lived before you.

THANK YOU!
Sometimes we carry medical personnel, sometimes we carry medical supplies, but the vast majority of the time we are just allowing people to travel all over the country. Just like the experts say we shouldn't. It's a joke to act like we're the hero in this story.

Agreed, no heroes in the pilot ranks right now. The only thing I’ve seen that’s close is cargo pilots. They are the only ones flying to China right now and bringing home our daily life-saving/life-improving medications (heart meds, diabetes, purple pills, etc). Normally not heroic, but when you consider the conditions, it is admirable - increased chance of infection, highly intrusive swab testing by questionably trained Chinese techs, locked down in layover hotel rooms for days on end, food options extremely limited, constant revisions, extended trips and the granddaddy of all- a possible “positive” test while in China and being dragged off to a government quarantine center....

older generations scorn the younger generations, and vice versa. I’m Gen X, and we thought the boomers were lame, and they thought we were the slackers who were ruining the world. Now that we are in our 40’s....we think the same of millennials and Gen Z. You will do the same.

College debt is nothing new. $60,000 tuition certainly is.
I have to say, someone not knowing basic grammar and knocking any type of higher education makes my insides fuzzy

$60,000 tuition without a scholarship is a choice, just like all the worthless degrees you millennials like to get. There are many fine collages, especially if you take in state tuition, that you can attend that won't cost you an arm and a leg. But that would be too "obvious" so you go the more obscure unnecessary/expensive route because you want to be "different". Then you complain when you are still living with mom at 26 and blame it on participation trophies or whatever because it is never your fault. You'll get over the grammar, it is an internet message board dude chill out. Plus when somebody brings it up it is the first sign they know they lost an argument.

Flying a 170 at 40 is the living in your parents basement at 26 of the airline world.
