He didn’t single out PSA.........
Thats probably in response to the poster going on the PSA Board and starting a new thread titled “PSA Shutdown?” I’d say that kind of constitutes singling out since there isn’t a similar thread on the other 2 WO’s boards. |

I'll agree it wasn't the plan, but they made it work and it ended up working extremely well for them.
Buying another regional from AA (or another major) to provide that major with short term liquidity may not make sense financially for OO short term, but could help secure lucrative long term contracts. It's all about the long-game. We'll see. In the past, liquidity provides time for a company to get its cost below its revenue and back in the black. AA would burn through every penny Skywest could give them in 15-25 days. |

Skywest has .5B in liquidity 3B in debt, and is now negative cash flow by .1B per year, maybe more.

Piedmont ground handling is far superior to Envoy but I don’t see either of them going away.

It cost money to move those planes back. They gotta he recheck by MX, pilots would have to be hired, and changes made with the FAA. All of that cost money and they don’t want more capex spending/ |

that assumes envoy instantly picks up all the piedmont load. You could just mothball piedmont’s airplanes, spread the load to wo/ffd/mainline (plenty of capacity) and spin envoy back up when demand returns

Envoy loves clapped out 145’s. We could bring our birds home and give them love. Maybe bring our stolen CRJ’s home too while we are at it. At least one of them so that the Commander has his beloved bird back.
