Quoting the talking point you heard from the host of your favorite cable “news” show, regardless if that’s CNN or FOX NEWS, is a boomer thing to do.

Actually go out and decide for yourself. Turn off the TV and go figure out what you believe in for yourself instead of being told by Tucker or Como what to believe.

If you fellow “boomers” (millennials) want to know what these GenZ morons are saying, here’s a primer:

That means ‘simpleton’ right?

I kid, I kid

Edit: I actually used ‘simp’ the other day, and was accused of promoting toxic masculinity and the patriarchy. I guess I’ll stick to ‘soft ass *****’ from now on 😂

I do read different sides of issues and think for myself. Don’t really care what the left or right thinks. It’s not about talking points. People won’t have a civil debate on issues anymore. Everything is driven by emotion as opposed to data. Rather than honestly debate an issue, both sides attack the messenger and try to attach labels. The problem is that if you even question a given narrative you are shouted down by the opposition as being racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. By doing this, the accused has to jump through hoops to discredit the accusation rather than defend and discuss a given position, which in turn makes people unwilling to talk about issues. Having an honest discussion today is like arguing with your wife. The concept has been changed to mean that you need to listen to what I say and agree, anything short of this is unacceptable. If you oppose defunding the police because you think that it would have a negative impact on poor and minority communities, you’re a racist. If you support same sex marriage, you’re attacking Christian values and destroying our culture. Both sides play the game. All I was saying is that people should think for themselves and say what they mean rather than fall in line with the herd mentality. Once they have thought out an issue, be willing to have a civil, data driven debate with people with different views. Again, if this makes me a boomer, it isn’t an insult.

thank god you’re the only one trying to have an open minded discussion, just like everyone else.

I’ve never claimed such a thing, but I’m probably more of a doomer than anything
