"It took XJT almost a year to get a decent operation going outta here. You guys are doing a great job."
Don't think you're the one and only carrier who can do a decent job for CAL. While you may balk that we're doing some of "your" flying...CHQ wasn't given the best circumstances to deal with. Get over yourself.

Direct quote from CAL Ops Agent while collecting release:

Your right. You're response to a thread is "AAAAHAHAHAHAHAH EVERYONE SUCKS WE ARE THE BEST!" But I'm the one "bickering"
I never said our performance was perfect. And hell, in the beginning it was pathetic. BUT it certainly is NOT that way anymore. I'm glad your proud of your carrier...but I'll be damned if I'm going to listen to some guy who doesn't even work here say anything bad about the company I work for and try to improve.
P.S. - For whatever it's worth, the XJT guys I've run into in IAH have been pretty classy. I'm guessing SAAB ain't down there

PS For anybody that believed our branded flying was going to fall flat, our load factors are hovering around a consistent 70%

I dunno what Bedford and Heller sold to CAL, but Chautauqua seemed destined to fail putting a new fleet type in the CRJ-200 on routes like IAH-RIC/ORF/MSP.
Chautauqua set themselves up for failure by trying to add a completely new fleet type on the cheap without type-experienced mechanics (hence the multiple IDG failures due to lack of oil I've been told about by friends there), skimping on crew training and recruitment, outstation basing, and general biting off way more than they could realistically chew at Purdue Road in the last 12-18 months.
Folks at XJT (Saab, for example) seem to be wanting CHQ to fail and get the boot from CAL...and while I kinda understand the sentiment, the pilots didn't make that deal, RAH and CAL management did. Direct your vitriol elsewhere...
