Reserve

I would like to move to Denver. However the only airlines that are based out there are Republic? SkyWest, Horizon, Mesa, and Great Lakes. I would like to get on with a carrier when Im done with my degree in Jan. Right now Im just thinking of my options. I dont want to work for Mesa or Great Lakes and most likely wont have the time for Skywest, Republic, or Horizon (450-30) . How hard would it be to commute while on reserve or while having a line. Should I pick a company that has a base close? I dont know. Ive been thinking about X-JET, ASA, Eagle. The school I instruct at has agreements to lower mins with these airlines. Any info would help. Thanks.

From: 7ER B...whatever that means.
Actually codeshares allow airlines to list other airlines flights as their own. For example, CAL flight 1547 might codeshare with COPA as flight 7547. Its airline marketing, has nothing to do with flight schools.
PS
Commuting out of DEN/COS on CAL to IAH will be damn near impossible. One of the toughest commutes out there from what i hear. Will probably get easier as some of the old timers start to medical out, turn 60/65, etc. But thats a long time to wait. I'm sure you've heard it before but the best way to improve your quality of life at any airline is not to commute.

I can't speak for Eagle.
