Am I too old?

I equate Flexjet with corporate. I really don't know much about them. I already have a Hawker type so I guess I might be what they are looking for. I'll broaden my view and look at other possibilities also. I thought I saw a forum on fractionals. I know they pay much better.
My plan with AE was to fly the line for a while and if that gets too old try to go into training. I was a TCE (Training Center Evaluator. Gave 61.58 and 297 checks) at Simuflite. Thought maybe my experience as a controller and a pilot would afford me the ability to add a unique perspective to training. Enjoyed it. Just would work 8 hours at the Center and do 6-12 hours Simufliting made for some long days. Sorry I'm rambling....

Eagle is very picky that you meet the currency requirements from what I can gather. You are not too old and your times look good. Eagle will now guarantee you the domicile of your choice, so DFW would be a lock (but you'd be in the Saab most likely, which is actually better for you the first year probably in terms of QOL). Check the requirements on their website and get current if you can. I'm not sure if the Simuflite job will help you there though, because Eagle views currency in terms of # of hours flown in the last 6 mos as opposed to the corporate/sim view of currency. Ask at the career fair to find out exactly what they want, I'd bet that's your problem right now.
Otherwise Eagle would be a good place for you since you can survive on FO pay and aren't in a huge hurry to log PIC so you can move on.
Good luck!

Eagle / AA are notorious for declining people for no apparent reason. Don't take it personally, move on to another airline if that's what you want to do.
I suspect they denied you because you aren't available until next year and just sent you a form letter. They don't know if they'll still be in business in 12 months, much less if they'll be hiring. They would probably consider you within a month of your availability.
