yep, the "adventure" nature of it appeals to me, i was thinking what my fiance' would do in china though. lol...she's a teacher, wonder if she could teach english and math combined...But yeh, it could be fun, but what's up w/ 9 days off a month, and it's written like that's something to be proud of, lol.

Let us not forget who is behind this operation. Been there done that wouldn't touch with a 30 foot pole. You can expect to be beaten until you void your contract that way he will not have to pay the completion bonus.

So if captain pay is at the poverty line...I'm sure FO pay is going to be fantastic. How do they plan on filling the right seat? Chinese FO's with English Captains? That sounds like a cockpit communication dream...

well if its a raw deal then dont do it. its as simple as that. the people who decide to go will have to deal with the consequences. and some people will end up liking it for some strange reason. its like anything else thats going on in the industry. someone is gonna stand up and do it.
btw chinese food in china is not the same as chinese food here in the states. i threw up a little in my mouth the first time i saw that disguisting crap. have fun out there whoever decides to go
