Here at STL I have met no pilots with less than 1000/100. More CFIs than i thought are here, but almost everyone has turbine time via right seat part 91 legs, former 121/135, or military. Lots of ex piedmont dudes here. That should give you an idea of who is getting in here.

For the 8,384,109,486 time...there is almost no rhyme or reason as to who goes 170 and who doesn't.
And the majority of EMB guys (145 and 170) go to STL with the overflow sent to IAH.

i was offered a position today (less than an hour after finishing the interview) on the 170. their reasoning was that it gives me a better chance of getting IND as my domicile.
