Do you have any examples of acquired airlines dequaling until they go through “the whole training program of the new certificate”? What did the AirTran pilots have to do?

Do you have an example of a single merger or acquisition since McCaskill Bond that hasn’t gone through the SLI process?

Seriously, you need to do your own research and address the true constraints I have already pointed out to you. In doing that you will find out the background information you clearly don’t understand. You are actually going to have to work a little to understand the industry. Knowledge isn’t going to just fall into your lap.

Look up McCakill Bond and how SLIs work under it. That’s at least a start. Eventually you will be able to answer your own questions.

That’s the point, you post stated “hadn’t” gone through an SLI. Was that what you meant to say? We are talking about acquisitions with a merged list, which makes your “hadn’t” word puzzling. Care to clear that up?

Not really. Find someone else to troll. I’ve adequately explained to anyone knowledgeable why I believe this will never occur. If you think differently, so be it.

True that. Anyone following the money train can discern that the regionals scam came about so that majors could cheapen labor costs. Anyone can also look at Flight Aware or Flightradar24 and notice that some of the routes that regional airlines are flying are anything BUT regional. Now that the majors are flush with government COVID loan money they are not too concerned about increasing labor costs yet, so it wouldn't make financial sense for them to buy any regionals at the moment.

I’ve stated it probably will not happen, and you’ve convinced yourself to a certainty that it cannot happen. In clarifying you’ve changed wording or stated laws say literal words that are not in the written law.
