Well I just read the company board... looks like LGA IS a real possibility. Why would the company want to send morale even further down the crapper? I am not happy about this. How can anyone afford to live there on first year FO pay... or second or third...

Maybe they will give you a cost of living stipend. IIRC, there is at least one regional that does that at LGA.

CHQ is down to 9 145's in the Airways system. The LGA domicile is actually doing more flying for United and Continental than they are for Airways. It was part of the 175 deal. We gain 175s and lose 145s which were then transfered over to the Continental system.

It's great that the CAL flying can be rid of those awful -200's!

Funny... LGA is a "REAL POSSIBILITY" regardless of the arbitration/pilot costs, but we have to wait to see how the arbitration out before we can proceed with RDU/MKE. I think there would be quite a few people here that'd take LGA. If they did, they'd make plenty of extra $$$ to offset the cost of living blocking 8+/day. Then they'd be off for Oct/Nov/Dec because of 1,000 hrs/year

RDU ain't gonna happen...waaaaaaay too many passengers for just 50 seats.

Kinda like ORF, at least in the spring/summer.

Default AWAC Contract?

Does anyone have a copy of the AWAC's contract they can email me (or point me in the right direction)? I have searched the net with no luck. They are one of my top choice of airlines to apply at when I complete my training in Dec.

[email protected]

Thanks!!!
