- I had an FO grab the paperwork off my lap while I was looking at it once. That kinda bugged me.

- Telling the flight attendant that it's okay to close the door.

- When there's a congested ramp or ground frequency and the FO waits for a 10 second pause before he keys in. Then when he finally gets the guts to push the button he's always stepping on the controller. (That only bugs me when it's the last leg and I want to be done.)

Next time tell the FO to bid in and out of ORD. That way all he has to do is LISTEN. He'll only have to say "Roger," repeat the "SQUAWK" code or say "Cleared for take-off 32L/T10"

Had a captain make me fly from bfl-lax in the emb with the autopilot off and no flight director, It was my second trip off ioe, full imc approach. I was sweating, ha ha but got a great eval from him.

nfp, cap turns radar off on my side so it updates faster on his.

pf, trying to land the 700/900 like the 200, scary.

Having to take controls to recover approach/landing.

FO's that insist on hand flying all the time.(The AP does better than you)
FO's that run checklist with out asking.
FO's that cant do a darn visual approach.

No kidding, but then you are total mush when the A/P is mel'D and I'll bet you get peeved that the F/O can't fly manually

Include it in your CRM brief, will solve that issue

Hi, my name is [ . . . . ]. I've been flying for this long, this much time in type, since you are PIC just let me know how you want things done and I'll do it. I have quirks that may come out, just let me know what bothers you and I'll try to fix it. My only request, is not to rush me doing Taxi Checks, 2nd Engine starts, B4 takeoff checks if we know before hand we are going to get a short taxi. I'd rather keep my head out of the cockpit so we don't hit anything.

When asked if he had anything to add to the crew briefing, this person then followed it up with a FA briefing that was short and sweet.
"The only thing I want to mention is that you don't say or discuss anything about drinking, parties, crazy behavior, or feeling tired and hungover, while on the Van Rides to and from the airport and anywhere in the airport especially if we have to walk through a TSA security line."
Hopefully, the Capt runs a standardized operation. Sure is unsafe to make F/O's model like clay to each Capt that thinks they can disregard the AOM etc.
Hated flying at places where Capt mentality is "My way or highway" Most junior F/O's only know the AOM procedures. Impatient Capts were always a pain.

Yea- he said after a 3-day that he didn't want conflict in the cockpit but when I said standard calls and profiles that would include autopilot on at 600'. I explained that the red AP disconnect button works on the FO side and the AP still "happened" to work when CALLED FOR above 10K and that when given a brief and I conclude with "any questions" or "cool with you (after a couple days of flying with someone)" that this issue should be brought up at that time- not at 600' after we already hashed this out numerous times. He was a bit controlling... Not a fan of that- CA authority is a bit different than trying control someone!
