Okay....nowhere in the post I made that you seemingly had beef with did I ever say RAH or their pilot group was low-balling the industry. I have many, many, many friends on all three certificates at RAH in both seats and wanted to work there myself when I lived in Indy. I simply said I make more as the FO in a CRJ than RAH FOs do in the 175; that is not gloating, it is a simple statement of fact. If you think that is "spitting on your job", then you need to lighten up.

If you are comparing FO rates, then surely you can add it all up and see any money lost in your short time at Republic as a FO is quickly recovered.
A 2-2.5 year upgrade does not change the fact that you are flying an 86 seat jet for less than I make to fly a 50 seat jet. It is not your fault; you were not at RAH at contract time just like I wasn't at Wiskey in either 2001 or 2003. Besides, I don't think anybody at Chautauqua in 2003 realistically thought four years later there would be 86 seat aircraft on property...but CHQ had 145s well before 2003 contract negotiations.

Also worthy of note is there are only 48 pilots at RAH with 10 years of longevity, and only 17 pilots with 15 years to take advantage of the high 175 pay you listed...on a list of nearly 2000 pilots. Additionally, upgrades to the 170/175 are starting to (properly) go to senior 145 pilots, meaning most if not all upgrades at RAH in the future will be to the (lower) 50 seat payscale. That said, upgrades are still upgrades!

This isn't the ****ing contest you are making it out to be. I don't have anything whatsoever against RAH or its pilots. Bedford and Heller have successfully grown the airline exponentially since 2003 to the benefit of shareholders and employees alike. It is a good company that up until I moved I wanted desperately to work for because it would have improved my QOL. I have little doubt your FO B-scale systemwide will be eliminated in your upcoming negotiations, and that your work rules will also improve. Myself and all Air Wisconsin pilots support your group in negotiations and I'd be happy to picket Purdue Road along side you if necessary.

Until then...I'll talk about how nice the E-jets are, wish I was flying some of your longer segments, comment on your FO B-scale and continue to laugh at the superior attitude of some RAH "widebody" pilots while climbing at 500fpm in my Climb Restricted Jet.

(The character ToiletDuck now walks in the room and looks a little shocked/embarrassed) "Ops! must have walked into the ladies room... Terribly sorry!"

(ToiletDuck briskly walks out the room, makes stomping noises with his feet as if walking away, then cracks the door to peek in and watch the slap fest with eagerness)
