I interviewed with them about a month ago. They had two classes in June for the 328 only. They are phasing out the B1900 by Sept they said hopefully. Very nice people, relaxed interview, they said they didn't know what would happen to them if Air Tran took them over so that scared me away. If it was not for that ONE thing I would have for sure wanted to fly with them. They are VERY short and need people bad.

Nope. The CRJ's are in MKE now, flown by who else? Skywest. Midwest management didn't even TRY to whipsaw Skyway with those planes. The plan is for Skyway to be 12 328's at some point in the near future. Management SAYS they're looking for more used 328's, but I doubt it. They should have bigger fish to fry as Airtran is nipping at the heels of Midwest. Like I said on another board, go elsewhere.

the 1900s aren't going anywhere, anytime soon. they have 2 1900 classes of 8 (and a 328 class as well) planned for august and management's current plan is to continue staff them as if they will be around indefinitely because great lakes has no idea when they will even start to think about starting up their EAS service.
