Default Mesaba Info?

Any Mesaba employees provide any interesting information?

What is your contract like? How do you like working there?

I'm seriously considering applying and am just trying to convince myself. Right now I'm looking at it as a gamble but I'm hoping to get some info that will help me justify it as a good opportunity.

Thanks.

I interview next week and I have been hearing good things. I have a buddy who is a Saab captain for them and he seems positive. A lot of growth and movement is taking place over there right now. Their pilot group is in the 700's and they are wanting somewhere around 1100 from what I've been told. Upgrade time on the Saab is sitting around 1-2 yrs I believe.
Can't comment on the contract yet but do a search for Mesaba on here and you will find some good info.

They have been hiring for both all along. Many more for the Saabs though but it is a fun airplane--much more hands on flying and less sitting there just watching the clouds go by.
