Thanks for all the input guys, trust me I would give my right nut to get hired at SKW but the fact is I need to get the time before I can even apply. I currently work as a 121 dispatcher full time so building time is slower for me but I will get there eventually.

Just suck it up and go to Lakes. They're the cockroach that will never die.

I couldn't agree more.

That's what I say as well...but I'm crazy! Do what you find to be best for you and your family, weighing factors of QOL, pay, work rules, bases, stability, equipment, and career progression. Good luck!

I just met a captain that's been doing the STL-DEN commute for 8 years. Two guys in my class are doing it as well. I've wanted to live out there for a while and I might consider it once I can afford it.

You have a ton of flights to choose from. Frontier and United mainline seem to be the best bets. Sounds like the ERJs get weight restricted out of there during the summer. As crazy as it sounds, if the loads look really bad, it's a 12 hour drive down 70 if you do the speed limit, and stop every two hours.

TSA's 145s usually weren't weight restricted. we regularly filled seats and got out of there. 16000' runways make the density altitude a bit more managable
