why dont you go ask Lou Casella about write ups and how Colgan & Co went to bat for him.................

That's such a sad story, he spent a pretty penny on legal fees.

Why do you assume you were there longer than me? Also, I do not stand up for Colgan, I voted for the union and thought it would be a good thing. Mgmt has many issues and I am right now dealing with crew scheduling over pay credits. My point is that Colgan pilots have the right to complain about Colgan, not people who worked for them back in the day.

You are like the 40 year old guy who goes back to his high school in his old football uniform and talks to the current players about what it was like when he went there.

I have nothing against you Saab, were just two guys trying to make this thing work. I am just saying you need to move on with Colgan.

THIS IS WHY "SOME OF YOU" REGIONAL PILOT SHOULD GROW SOME B@LLS! JUST SAY NO!

When your fired call a good lawyer and subpeona your POI. Reference the FAR/AIM during the trial and get lots of time off, back pay and your job back!

IM SAFE... or is it: I AM SAFE

Those starry eyed FO's are pretty serious. I saw two at FSI in STL about 3 weeks ago decked out in full uniform, including the hat. Dudes were checking their email in the lab. Those guys are hardcore! I someday wish I could be cool enough to wear my hat at Flight Safety.

Ok what you are not understanding is that what goes on at COLGAN, affects the rest of the industry. CHQ for example has set the bar at the 170 pay rates, they are not the best, but I am sure they will fight hard for higher ones. COLGAN is expanding at the expense of its employees. I understand I sound like a little girl at times, but the reason being is that I still see the same type of thing going on over there, and it shouldn't. I compare XJT to Colgan in many ways, just so people that may not have any other experience other than Colgan can see what an Airline job can be like. An example of this, is if there is a M/X issue the M/X guys are literally waiting at the gate for us, no questions asked! if its broken they fix it, if they cant fix it and no other airplanes are available then the flight is canceled............. I just want guys who are currently looking for regional jobs to beware that COLGAN is not the best place to be and the main reason is because the way management runs things. What drives me nuts is that when given the opportunity to change things.....................the "majority" of pilots didnt even bother "showing" up to vote..........And I only ask you how long you have been there, not because I am going to make a smart ass remark, but because I was ok with it for the 1st 4-6 months after that you get really tired of the bull****.........

Why should they have? I know the story (RIGHT FROM HIM). And yet he choose to stay for awhile longer. The only reason he left, was 'cause the Pinnacle "takeover". Saab, you are happy with XJT (by the way, thanks to the crew who took me to EWR yesterday), move on. You are starting to sound like Skyhigh.

Not to p1ss anyone off.... but could you relate this story about Lou Casella?

Where did he go?

Short Bus Drive 08-25-2007 07:41 AM

Lou's here. He was enjoying the sattelite base in ACY, until the union pulled the LOA. 21 days off, NO reserve, and 77 credit hours. (He still picked up some trips on his days off at 150%.)

And for "Ponch"(belliot):
Long story short, he took an airplane that the previous Capt. told him had a oil gauge problem (flickering). Had to come back to IAD. FAA got involved. Never was in the book. But the previous guy called ops to have MX meet the aircraft. FAA got wind of that too.
That's why when the previous crew comes in and says there is a problem with the aircraft, I say to put it in the book!!!
