I left early on the contract, my sim partner left early on the contract, and I know of more people who have left early on the contract. The day I decided to leave was when I heard of airplanes flying around with both engines on derivative power and the FAA busting captains that accepted these airplanes to fly. Another side note. I went into debt WORKING for colgan because they pay so little. Even if I wanted to try and pay it back it wouldn't be possible. I am so much happier where I am and finally getting my head above water, so I have no regret about moving on. Good guys over there, enjoyed flying with most of the guys I flew with, just hope things get worked out with them.

"Hey I just got based up in Albany, NY for Colgan. Everything with COlgan so far has been pretty awesome, training, IOE, and all the guys I flew with or trained with have been awesome guys, so I was hoping if I can expect the same with Reserve. I am on Reserve the whole month of Jan and wondering if I can expect to fly alot, or a little any Colgan guys out there that have any info, please let me know, thanks, and for anybody thats wondering, SAAB 340 is an awesome airplane, so if your thinking about Colgan go for it, great bunch of people!"

You were so happy then

Im sorry this is off the topic, but does anyone know what bases are still open in NY? Wondering about mostly about BUF ROC SYR ITH. If ROC is closed are the pilots that are doing ROC-BDL coming from BUF? I see the BUF-BDL makes a stop in ROC and on the way back. However in the summer both BUF and ROC flights are non-stop's to BDL so where with the ROC-BDL pilots come from? Thanks

It shouldn't be this way in this profession, guys.

Good for him, moving onto a better company.

I've had enough with Colgan's exploitation.
