Default United contracting out current skywest ramps

I work for Eagle as a station agent at BNA. We have been told that Eagle put in a bid to work the ramp and ticket counter for Skywest flights (at least hear at BNA, not sure about the rest of the system). I was wondering if anyone else has heard anything about this. We do the Midwest Connect Skyway flights and sometimes get a Skywest CRJ. Our Station manager said this could just be them testing the waters to see how much it would cost but that it could possibly pan out and we could have the contract by the end of the year. If you have any info on this please let me know.
