Been out of the loop for quite a while. Whats the latest on flow through agreements these days. I understand there has been alot of discussion about Eagle lateley and the problems from their Flow thru/flow back. Anyone else have a flow through agreement? Also, whats your thoughts on operating a carrier as one airline flying both R.J.s and bigger equipment, rather than having two seperate entities. I think Air Canada does it this way.

Compass and Mesaba have a flow through with NWA. It remains to be seen if it will work - as they were both signed this summer. I don't think anyone is holding their breath, as historically they haven't gone so well.

Historically flowthroughs have been useless (or worse). The only valid flowthrough agreement would be one where you get a mainline seniority number the day you start at the regional. They could then require 1000 hours as an RJ CA before you bid into mainline.
