Actually she's a doctor. It doesn't matter how long I've been at colgan. Spare me your "let me know how you feel in a few months" speech b/c I'm tired of hearing it. I'm sure it's not the best company in the world and it's certainly not what you make it out to be. Your time at colgan is over. Get over it, move on, and stop whinning about it.

My hat is off the the beech guys. I think they have to put up with a lot, but I have zero complaints on the saab. I did TDY all last month, had a nice hotel room every night, got paid per diem for the entire month, and had at least 12 hours of rest everynight. This month I've been in rochester which sucks, but the schedules are nice. No abuse here.

Saab, C'mon now, we know you had a bad experience and sorry you had to go through it. But, not everyone is or will go through the same BS. We all have different situations and experiences. Of all the Colgan pilots I have spoken with over the past few months most tend to say it's not a bad place to be and the crews are great people. Especially if you live in base the qol is pretty good. And if your spouse works it's an even better situation. Most pilots will not make a career out of Colgan Air and I see no reason why one could not enjoy a good QOL and build your turbine pic time and move on to the major's, fractional or whatever. I just got hired last week and look forward to my time there and we'll just have to see what the next 6 mos-1yr bring. If I can spend more time at home and see my daughter grow up it will be worth some of the bs that I might encounter. We all have to make sacrifices here and there. Which ones you make are up to your needs.
