Exactly. Especially since I just checked FO open time and there are 10open time trips that leave TODAY! I'm sure they will be junior manning on the day the furlough.

I fail to understand this company. You are short of flight crews, cancelling flights right and left for lack of crews, and still furloughing ? Shouldn't you be recalling the furloughs to properly staff your airline?

Then again, with all the firings I've been witness to this company that has been going on as of late, I'm not surprised. It seems the more you cost the company, your a target. I work with and for a great group of Sups, that keep us in the know.

Oh well, happy day.

I love that our day to file for Unemployment falls on a holiday. Just one more kick in the jet pipe to make you feel great. :D Guess you I will have to wait till Tuesday.

If your filing in New York you can do it today online at

https://ui.labor.state.ny.us/UBC/home.do

I'm sure most state's websites are the same.

Yea I have already pre-filed, but now I have to talk to a real person to finalize stuff I guess. Fun Fun

If you work in NY, but live in another state, you have to call 877-358-5306
You can't file online if you are not a NY resident.

Still looking for the Comair EIN number. Anyone have it handy?

Its official. Before noon all FO reserves have been used in both bases. Someone call in sick and then run out look at the board and see cancel. Or look for the ****ed off pilot (hold on they all are) OK find the most ****ed off pilot and play the new game guess who got JMed.

If it's true that Mr. B receives an e-mail every time a flight is cancelled due to staffing, I hope his Inbox is overflowing. He may actually be our best chance in getting pilots back on the property.

On another note, what does everyone think about the new MEC?

I don't care anymore. I'm not expecting a recall and Comair is in the past for me now and I really don't care what is going to happen to this company.
