Wow, at Comair rates that's $11,100 in tax-free per diem.

Yes!

Take a look through the contract.

Wow a day of positive information from the Union and the Company....wierd, well positive besides the fact that we are still furloughing, but the good news is the Union finally stepped up and told us what the heck they are doing...this could have dispelled a ton of rumors

Here's how this will go, with regard to the additional 900's. They will beef up the staffing to a point where there are so many F.O.'s on the 70/90 that the average reserve will fly 15-20hrs p/month. Crew planning will send the entire company into a panic giving scheduling the idea that we are so understaffed that no one will be released from duty early, people will be junior manned even when there are adequate reserves, and to top it all off there won't be an ounce of open time despite the "staffing crisis".

That's my experience with the Circus called Comair. It certainly keeps me entertained or maybe just insane I can't tell the difference anymore.

Even with the reduced amount of furloughs, according to the union, JS said that they expect recalls to begin in December. With all of the 70/90 vacancy & displacement training that needs to take place, does anyone think CMR will actually furlough anyone? The need to remain "fluid" probably means remaining fat on staffing.

Also, what about the other 7 airframes on the way that are unaccounted for?

Then again, maybe the Kool-Aid tastes better when you're wearing rose colored glasses.
