Comair updates?
This isn't a defense of Delta or Comair but if you think DCI is dysfunctional I'll wager that the UAL regional family makes us look like the Cleavers.
I'll also hazard a guess and say XJT is flying this either at a loss or close to it. They have loads of parked airplanes and CAL having not been in bankruptcy is probably paying top dollar for leases on them. At least Delta hid under the bankruptcy blanket to hack away at the leases on our birds.
I for one will never buy into the theory that our costs make us uncompetitive...our management makes us uncompetitive. I'm not shedding any tears over this "lost opportunity." They can have it.

Well looks like Express Jet got the rest of the RFP for United. If they start hiring for this once the furloughees are recalled, I would go there. (Yes, a not so subtle hint.)
They are an awesome company to work for. Ahhhh the memories of the Holiday Inn in Houston, Good Eats Restaurant, Jim Reams' jokes at the welcome to Express Jet party we had at the training center - if you get the chance I would take it.!!!!!!!!!
Why would I say that? Well I spoke with a certain CVG based C.P. and even though Delta's recent annoucement about the recalls is good, They are still planning on cutting 50% of our flights. I guess he said they use us like filler. A shame to let an asset you paid 2 billion for erode like that.
Hey Delta management, why not take a page out of AMR's playbook and consolidate like they did Eagle? Why keep farming out flying? Why not keep those profits in house? You are not re-investing in Comair, we have the oldest fleet in the industry why do you do this? R. A. I would love to hear your answer on this one- except I already know you won't give one.
In other news, I expect Mesa to go dino shortly. According to my source, Don't expect Delta to give Comair that flying- or they may simply cancel it.

Absolutely. Perrizo has been more professional than most i have ever dealt with. He's really a good guy and I'm glad he's fighting for us.
