Used to fly there all the time with the 700's. Heck SkyWest was doing CVG-SLC when they started flying their 900's into here. Of course that only lasted for a month or so before the Skymilers complained!

Actually, the good times were Santa Barbara, Vegas, San Fran, and Helena out of our mini-hub in Salt lake. Plus all the Carribean flying out of MCO.

Funniest part was when one of the 50s ferried all of the way SBA-CVG nonstop. That crew didn't sound real happy when they landed.

I am sure it is like new hire training all over again because we have been gone for such a long time. I just got my recall letter in the mail today. I should also be hearing from Eagle soon, so decisions, decisions.

Well, I live near DFW so not having to commute with Eagle is a plus. However, starting all over at first year pay is no fun either. My wife is trying to get a job with a company where she can work at home, and if that works out we will probably move to within an hours drive of JFK so that I don't have to commute and I can go back to third year pay.

What makes you say you'll get based in DFW with Eagle? What if you get SJU or MIA or JFK? I personally would take the recall, both airlines have decade long upgrades so it doesn't really matter, but to go through training again and take the hit on pay... I dunno. Good Luck! It's good to have options like that, especially right now.

Well, I have a better chance of being based in DFW at Eagle than I do at Comair. Everything pretty much depends on what happens with the wifes job. I am more than happy to have gone from unemployment to having two different job options!
