Sounds to me like you're a pretty senior guy yet you still haven't figured out how pilots think. It doesn't matter if its at Fedex, people will always complain. And believe it or not some people would rather give their left nut than break a contract, whatever floats their boat i guess.

Shortly after my upgrade at Comair I flew with a new hire, a young guy. He asked me if I was a Comair lifer. I replied that I had no idea how long I would be at Comair, that the airline industry takes some funny turns and that I felt lucky to just have a job. His response? "Hey, I'm only gonna be here two, maybe three years tops, then I'm moving on to a major. I'd really like to go to United." This was in 1998, and he is still there.

We used to fly there all the time a couple years ago, also Colorado Springs. Those were the good times OH.
