They can keep their displacement bid. Seriously, I wouldn't believe a word from the memo's that are posted on Epic. They probably realized they need even more people on reserve, not because we are short on people, but because scheduling can't staff right. If they are already scrambling now, I cannot wait until October when the COLAs go into effect and see how they are going to handle that. I am just going to sit back and laugh like a little girl as it blows up in their face...

Hey was it the company or alpa that wanted this stupid 60/40 rule for reserves in the contract? I am assuming it was the company to keep costs down (less people breaking minimum) it sucks btw

I'm not sure who wanted the 60/40 thing. Also, nobody should really be breaking guarantee on reserve. Just look at the 70/90 reserve status list, I would say over half of the reserves will have between 65-70 hrs. of credit. That's not reserve! Build more lines, especially since the min. line value is 76 hrs. now. There is no reason to have so many guys on reserve if scheduling would staff right and would do things more efficiently. But it's ok, we only get 75% pay for DHs, so let's just DH a bunch of reserves. I already made peace with the fact that I will be their slave for the rest of my career at Comair.

I would expect a new displacement bid after the COLA award. Hey, the more time that passes and no furloughs, the better.

Nothing surprises me anymore by this company, it is run by a bunch of idiots. They can blame it on Delta all they want. For some reason I knew this was going to happen. Get ready for the vacancy bid to be canceled in the next few hours. Remember, that's what Comair does best.

Did Mesa win another injunction? Or I wonder if Delta had another change of heart like they did with Pinnacle.

This time they're saying 100 captain "displacements" aka downgrades. That's 50 fewer than last time. Maybe this means it will only be 200 furloughs?
