Most of the guys that work in the CP office do so to add to their resume hoping it will help them get on with a major. I hope they realize that they are making a really bad image and most majors if they ever do hire again will look at them with a strike against them for doing such a terrible job.

I don't think we should call them chief pilots anymore. Maybe we should call them what they are...... guidance counselors in training.

The folks that sit behind the desks on the left when you first walk in are our real chiefs. They are usually more than helpful and provide more useful information than any of the four offices in there.

Has anyone received a furlough letter yet from the company?

Perhaps... I'd take a week or two COLA... but I am not slated to make it past November 5th...

It's certainly not enough... I count only 26 total traditional COLAS offered overall in this bid...

Why offer so few COLA’s in November when we have pilots on furlough starting next month. I thought I would see a lot more offered.
This is just company KOOL-AID.

Nothing Kool-Aid about it. If they can get people to take off, it's less money they pay out. Plain and simple.

I agree, it doesn't seem like a high enough amount. But, I guess every little bit counts. Except I don't agree with your math. I counted 22 F/Os that would get COLAed accounting for 13 bodies (didn't count the Capts at all).
