What insurance?

I know I have a bunch of mail from ALPA sitting un-opened on my desk but is this one of those you have to send a letter in opting out?

CRJDRIVER, did you get one of these letters?

I got one. They want 38 bucks from me. It looks like it includes loss of license and ALPA life. Not sure if all that is worth it or not. Maybe loss of license is.

Now I have to rant about this JFK increase in block. Lots of guys got lines, but now since there are less reserves they won't let you drop anything or even switch. In the free and clear grids it says everyday is critical. I even tried to trade one 4 day for another 4 day in open time and they wouldn't let me. And that trip I want is STILL there. A reserve pilot is going to get one or the other trip anyways. I'm probably going to try and pick up something after the SAW anyways, to get some time and a half.

Probably move up to JFK area, or commute from someplace other than NKY. I don't really wnt to commute to reserve, so I will give living there a chance.

I wish I could say that. It'll be the commuting game for me.

It's a game you never win...

No, but it is one I am willing to play. I won't commute for an FO slot but I will commute for a captain slot.

3 to 5 legs
