I dont think its fair that the company can make you sit day 7 "OFF" in a hotel room at an outstation bc they couldnt get you home.........and then call it a day off and make u work when u get back... I HAVE NO CLOTHES.

I don't know. That sounds like an ilegal assignment. I will look at the contract tho

I'm almost positive they cant' do that, that sounds mesaesque. Check the contract ASAP

In all reality,that does sound very suspect. Check the contract and call the union.

They can't use you more than 6 days, and they have to get you back to JFK somehow. You will get JM today/tomorrow and JM pay for your DH back. Like I told you yesterday, I'm not sure if you could get released and then just non-rev back, unless you want the extra pay. Have fun!;)

Hey CRJ you are correct, I do not have the contract with me, however in addition, they have to give you a day off of your choice to make up for the one you deadheaded back on. This occured to me a month ago, and actually worked out in my favor.

Yeah, I agree...scheduling notifying us of a change in the middle of a trip has not been happenning lately. I just did a 4 day with 5 different CAs, 4 different FAs, and 2 schedule changes that happenned the only 2 times I was through CVG. I got notified of the changes because I checked my line and called them. No RIDS, no VM, no call, no message from ramp tower. Each sit in CVG was 45 min or less. Btw...in a case like this, I would normally wait for them to figure it out in short time I'm on the ground then just proceed on with the trip I was already assigned, but this time, each change was more appealing to me than what I was already doing.

I think our girls should mud it out and see who is the hottest! LOL!
Don't get me started on this place and scheduling! Looks like I will be in rt seat again...8 year FO..appealing!
On that note: any CAPT want my four day in August? Will pay cash on top of trip. Dates: 8/13 thru 16th in JFK not bad layovers. PM if interested.
