Default HYA as Colgan Base

Does anyone have any info on how HYA is as a Colgan base? I thought it was a seasonal base but was told at the interview that HYA was year round. Is it mostly senior? While I'm at it, how about MHT? Any Colgan pilots that could pass on some info it would be appreciated. As you can tell by my previous posts I am trying to stay in southern new england whether it be PVD, MHT or HYA. Hate to sell my Pat's season tix! How about those Pat's? Feel bad for JET fan today.

From my understanding I think they make it a base in the summer, then close it down, so they dont have to pay TDY, I know there was a COLGAN base out there like that I dont know if it was HYA or not..................

I think HYA is seasonal between Hyannis and Boston, and has daily service to LaGuardia.

Patriots look great, seems like Moss is working out for you guys. I wouldn't say you had the toughest opponent though... Sorry Jets fans.

P.S. Go Cowboys!

True, I was wondering if the Pats were that good or if the Jets were that bad. I expected the Jets to provide a little more of a challenge though. In regards to HYA, the route between BOS and HYA is seasonal but yearound service to LGA? If thats the case then does that mean HYA is a yearound base for pilots? I know its a MX base.

I don't think Colgan has HYA-BOS service. I commute out of HYA, and I'm nearly certain 9K is the only carrier doing that. Colgan operates B1900 HYA-ACK-LGA service in the off season, and adds Saabs and HYA-LGA nonstops in the late spring through probably last weekend.

As far as domiciles, I am 99% sure the 1900 is based here year round, at least I've seen them RON at the hanger all summer. Not sure if the Saab is ever based here. I know the first S340 trip of the year went to a hotel, cause it was my last j/s ride out of LGA before I got my transfer to BOS.

Thanks for the info rob. I thought HYA would have been a good base but sounds like it's for b1900 only as far as year round. I guess PVD and MHT are #1 and #2. And I know PVD will require a wait. Do you get to the trampolines often? My daughter loves them( down the road on 28).

We hardly ever get east of Hyannis, as we are 'out west' in Mashpee, but next summer my son will probably be big enough to want to go there. If I can just keep its existence a secret for a couple more years...

You're set on Colgan? Might be worthwhile to check out Cape, Big Sky, or Eagle if you have not already done so.

Saab, you're dreaming. Even if the Yanks swept the Sox at the Fens, which they won't - they're still only playing for the wild card. Our schedule has just as many games against sub .500 teams on it as yours does(all of them). No this year the Yanks are going to be the runner-up, George will have a coniption fit and fire everybody; except Jeter, who will demand a trade to the Lakers, since they are the only other team in sports half as arrogant and just as underperforming as the Yankees.
